GFEV/298 MEGA Bolt-On Fuse Holder — 30A to 650A DC, 12V to 250V
High-current bolt-down fuse block for GFEFUSE ANL-B (298/MEGA style) automotive fuses. UL94 V-0 glass-reinforced base, Grade 8.8 fasteners, integrated protective cover.

Bolt-Down / Splash Cover
Because high-current DC feeds demand reliable bolt-down protection, engineers choose the GFEV/298 for harsh under-hood and battery-bay environments. In particular, its UL94 V-0 base resists flame spread. Moreover, its Grade 8.8 fasteners keep terminal contact stable even under continuous load. As a result, designers deploy it confidently on both 12V automotive main feeds and higher-voltage DC distribution circuits.

Key Features
- Wide rating window: 12V–250V DC system voltage, 30A–650A DC fuse current.
- Safe base material: PBT + 15% glass fiber, UL94 V-0 flame-retardant.
- Strong hardware: Grade 8.8 high-strength steel screws with stainless steel nuts.
- Cover included: integral protective cover for harsh under-hood / battery bay mounting.
- True 298 footprint: accepts GFEFUSE ANL-B medium fork-bolt automotive fuses.
Why it works in EV and DC systems
Because the holder covers 12V–250V DC and 30A–650A DC, it suits both 12V automotive main feeds and higher-voltage DC distribution. Consequently, OEMs use it widely in NEV control boxes and battery protection circuits. For example, a 400A rating can protect an alternator-to-battery main cable. However, you must never size a fuse above the cable’s ampacity. In addition, the integral cover reduces the risk of accidental short circuits during installation.

How to order and install
First, select an ANL-B / 298-class fuse whose rating matches your cable and load. Next, bolt the holder down through the slotted ears. Then torque the terminals according to the fuse manufacturer’s instructions. Finally, snap the cover into place. For M8 bolt-down 298-class systems, installers apply a typical terminal torque of 12–18 N·m. If you need a specific IP rating, simply specify the protection level when ordering.
Applications
- Automotive wiring harness main-feed and alternator-to-battery protection
- New energy vehicle (NEV) / EV high-voltage control box and DC junction boxes
- DC power supplies, UPS and industrial DC distribution equipment
- Battery protection circuits, inverters, and off-grid / solar battery banks
- Communication equipment and high-current DC loads
