Grade 8.8 Screws
Because ANL-class bolt-on fuses carry very high DC currents, engineers choose the ANS-800 when they need a rigid, flame-retardant mounting base. In particular, its PBT+GF30% housing meets UL94 V-0. Moreover, M8 studs and Grade 8.8 hardware keep contact stable under load. As a result, it suits main-feed protection in EVs, battery banks and DC power systems.

Key Features
- Up to 800A DC: covers 30A–800A with ANL-A fuses.
- UL94 V-0 housing: PBT + 30% glass fiber for strength and flame retardancy.
- M8 studs: suit heavy-gauge battery and alternator cables.
- Grade 8.8 hardware: high-strength screws with stainless steel nuts.
- ANL footprint: designed for GFEFUSE ANL-A bolt-on fuses.
Why it works in EV and DC systems
Because the holder covers 12V–250V DC and up to 800A, it suits high-current main feeds that ordinary blade fuses cannot handle. Consequently, OEMs use it in NEV control boxes, battery protection circuits and DC power supplies. For example, an 800A rating can protect a heavy inverter-to-battery cable. However, you must never size a fuse above the cable’s ampacity. In addition, the glass-reinforced PBT housing stays rigid under high vibration.

How to order and install
First, select an ANL-A series fuse whose rating matches your cable and load. Next, bolt the holder to the panel through the Ø6.5 mm mounting holes. Then torque the M8 terminals according to the fuse manufacturer’s instructions. Finally, connect the cable lugs and tighten the stainless steel nuts. If you need a specific IP rating, simply specify the protection level when ordering.
Applications
- Automotive wiring harness main-feed and alternator-to-battery protection
- New energy vehicle (NEV) / EV control box and DC junction boxes
- DC power supplies, UPS and high-current inverters
- Battery protection circuits, off-grid / solar battery banks
- Communication equipment and heavy DC loads up to 800A
