Operating Conditions & Derating Rules

Temperature Condition

  • Normal operating ambient temperature:‑5 ℃ ~ +40 ℃
  • Allowable operating range:‑40 ℃ ~ +85 ℃
  • Storage temperature:‑40 ℃ ~120 ℃
  • Note: Continuous working current recommend ≤75% of fuse rated‑current.

Altitude Derating(Ka factor)

  • Standard condition: altitude ≤2000 m without derating.
  • Closed‑box installation above 2000 m: derate rated‑current 2‑5% per 1000 m elevation.
  • Insulation gap correction should follow GB/T16935.1 for high‑altitude application.

Installation & Vibration Resistance

  • Can install vertically, horizontally or inclined mounting.
  • High‑frequency vibration resistance ≥20g acceleration.
  • Forced air‑cooling can increase allowable operating current, follow Kv cooling‑correction curve in datasheet.
  • Terminal contact resistance must be kept low to avoid extra temperature‑rise.

Characteristic Curves Reference
