General Fuse Holder Questions

What materials are GFEFUSE fuse holders made of?

Most GFEFUSE fuse holders use PBT or glass-filled PBT housing with UL94-V0 flame retardant rating, and brass or phosphor bronze terminals with tin or tin-nickel plating. Panel mount models may also use Bakelite housing for high temperature resistance.

What certifications do your fuse holders have?

Our fuse holders comply with RoHS and lead-free standards. Selected models carry UL certification with corresponding file numbers. All products are manufactured according to international circuit protection specifications.

What is the difference between PCB mount and panel mount fuse holders?

PCB mount fuse holders are soldered directly onto printed circuit boards for automated assembly. Panel mount fuse holders are fixed to chassis or equipment front panels with a threaded nut, for easier field replacement and front-panel access.

Can fuse holders be used for AC and DC circuits?

Most of our fuse holders support both AC and DC circuits. Voltage and current ratings differ between AC and DC; please refer to datasheet for DC breaking capacity.

PCB Mount Fuse Holder FAQs

Can PCB mount fuse holders go through reflow soldering?

Yes, most of our PCB mount fuse holders with PBT housing support lead-free reflow soldering. Always check the datasheet for exact soldering temperature and time limits, typically 260℃ for 3 seconds for through-hole models.

What size fuse fits a 5x20mm PCB fuse holder?

A 5×20mm PCB fuse holder is designed exclusively for standard 5×20mm glass or ceramic tubular fuses. It is not compatible with other fuse sizes such as 6.35×31.75mm or blade fuses.

What is the contact resistance of a typical PCB fuse holder?

Standard PCB fuse holders have a maximum contact resistance of 5mΩ to 50mΩ, depending on model and current rating. Lower contact resistance means less heat generation and higher efficiency.

What is the maximum current rating for PCB mount fuse holders?

PCB mount fuse holders cover ratings from 0.5A up to 30A, depending on model and structure

Automotive Blade Fuse Holder FAQs

What blade fuse sizes are compatible with your holders?

We offer blade fuse holders for mini, ATO/ATC (medium), and maxi automotive blade fuses. We also provide universal 3-in-1 models that support multiple fuse sizes in one socket.

Are automotive fuse holders suitable for 12V and 24V systems?

Yes, our automotive blade fuse holders are designed for 12V and 24V DC vehicle electrical systems, with rated voltage up to 500VAC for industrial-grade models.

What is the minimum insertion and extraction force?

Our standard blade fuse holders have a minimum insertion and extraction force of 1kg, ensuring secure contact under vehicle vibration while allowing reasonable fuse replacement.

Are automotive fuse holders waterproof?

Some models are IP54 / IP67 waterproof with sealed housing. Non-sealed versions are for dry cabin installation only. Please refer to product spec sheet.

High Voltage & Industrial Fuse Holder FAQs

Do you have fuse holders for 1000V DC applications?

Yes, our 6.35×31.75mm tubular fuse holder series (R3-67A / R3-67B) supports up to 1000V DC at 50A, suitable for PV inverters, energy storage systems and industrial DC power supplies.

What is the dielectric withstand voltage of your fuse holders?

Dielectric withstand voltage ranges from 1500VAC to over 3000VAC depending on the model. High-voltage tubular fuse holders typically offer above 3000VAC breakdown strength.

What is the maximum short-circuit rating of high voltage fuse

Short-circuit breaking capacity depends on model and matched fuse. Our HV fuse holders are tested for solar and energy storage fault current scenarios.

Are high voltage fuse holders touch-safe?

Our high voltage fuse holders adopt touch-proof design to prevent accidental contact with live conductive parts under normal installation.

Order & Business FAQs

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Standard MOQ is 1000 pieces for most models. Smaller trial orders and samples are available for engineering evaluation – contact our sales team for details.

What is the standard lead time?

Standard production lead time is 15-20 working days for bulk orders. Samples are usually shipped within 3-5 working days. Expedited service is available upon request.

Do you offer custom fuse holder solutions?

Yes, we provide custom design service including special dimensions, pin configurations, materials and marking. Send your specification to our engineering team for evaluation.

Can I get free samples of fuse holders for testing?
We provide sample service for product evaluation. Customers only need to cover freight cost; sample quantity is limited per model.
